Sunshine, laughter,
and a glow necklace

The woman who lit up every room

Maddie Trumble was the kind of person who made you feel like the most important person in the room. A lover of music, festivals, good wine, and even better company – she approached life with a joy that was utterly contagious. She was, without question, a party girl in the best possible sense: magnetic, generous, and always the beating heart of any gathering.

But beneath the glitter and the glow necklaces, Maddie's greatest loves were closer to home. Her husband Matt and their daughter Maisie were everything to her. Her dad Paul, and her brothers James and Lach, were a constant presence in her life – the kind of love that doesn't need saying out loud because it's always just there.

When Maddie was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, she faced it with the same openness and warmth she brought to everything. She shared her journey bravely, and let those who loved her be there with her.

Maddie loved this website – she wanted it to stay up forever, as a digital space where the people who loved her could always come back to her.
